I always post videos & write these long azz stories about why the song or video has a special meaning to me - well tonights story is super simple - I was always a true blue hip hop head & my father hated rap music - he was a 50 & 60s rock & roll type of guy & the Beach Boys were his favorites - the Fat Boys were one of my favorite groups (they still are) - so in 1987 when these 2 legendary groups got together & did a track it became the only hip hop joint that my pops everrrrr dug - Now a lot of hardcore hip hop heads hated on this track & said it wasnt real hip hop & to that I say that they obviously dont know what the hell theyre talking about - hip hop has always had a sense of humor - fom biz markies picking boogers & just a friend to the rappin duke to parents just dont understand to pee wees dance - it doesnt have to be gangsta to be hip hop - its okay to laugh & have fun & plus the beatboxing at the end is dope - I love this video - if you notice every time they show Buffy standing in the sand his feet keep sinking in - thats hilarious & plus they have the beach boys cuttin up records - cmon son you know thats hot lol - So if you are one of those that argue that this is not real hip hop - I will argue back that you need to 3 finger yo self - matter of fact just click pay & check it out for yourself - peace suckaaazzz !!! #OldSchoolCrew
