I am a Wyoming Native growing up in Cody and moving to Sweetwater County. I am an avid outdoorsman and believe in Wyoming’s tradition and values. I am raising my children here in Sweetwater County and call it my home. I am a volunteer firefighter as well as a successful business owner. I know how to lead in a positive way. I am a certified Professional Peace Officer serving our community for more than 15 years. I have been in several specialized positions during my law enforcement career. I have been a Patrol Supervisor, detective, SRT (Swat) entry operator, traffic crash reconstruction technician among several other positions. I am currently serving the citizens as the School Resource Officer at the Green River High School. I understand the importance of law enforcement being involved with the education of our children. We need to help our youth prepare for making good choices during difficult situations in their life. The Sheriff Position should not be a retirement position. The Sheriff needs to be active within the organization, looking for ways to improve the service provided to the citizens, while being fiscally responsible. The Sheriff works for the public; therefore he should serve the public, not himself. I believe the Sheriff needs to take a proactive approach to crime by educating our citizens in crime prevention. Elect me your next Sheriff and I will bring integrity and accountability to the position of Sheriff. I believe community input is essential to the operation of the Sheriff Office. I will be an active leader listening to all the citizens of Sweetwater County. I will welcome change that will positively impact the service to the public. I will put the needs, safety, and well being of the citizens as my number one priority.
