I am an artist first, musician second, and entertainer third. I believe that artistic expression is the highest form of activity that earthlings have yet done, and is an inevitable result of heightened consciousness. Therefore I feel that the artistic element of what I do is the most important, second is the strictly musical role of playing instruments, and third is the entertainment aspect. I find entertainment in itself to be shallow and rather unimportant. I recognize that there is a considerable element of entertainment in what I do, but it is by far the least important aspect of my artistic activities.
