I am crying as I write this post....Last week Jackson had a rough day at school because a kids was making fun of him in front of the entire class and it made him cry :( Hearing the pain in his voice when he tried to understand why this little boy was treating him this way was almost unbearable...As parents we want to shield our kids from any kind of hurt harm or danger and at that moment we felt so helpless. We had a long talk with him and made it a teaching moment for all of our kids and prayed that things would get better...WELL yesterday Jackson came home and said that he told the little boy The Lord doesnt like it when you are mean and the little boy apologized...I tried my best not to break down and cry while Jackson was speaking but it was such a great feeling and a huge reminder for me that we cant fix everything and we need to rely on GOD to handle it. Jackson handled it so well and like a true child of God because the Lord knows that a part of me wanted to transform into a little kindergarten and give that boy a piece of my mind (forgive me)....Im proud of my son and the young man he is becoming. In that moment I learned something from him.
