I am currently I nanny to a family with 3 kids. Ages 2 - 5 years. I have been working for them for over 2 years now. I first started because she wanted help/playmate for the then 3 year old with a newborn(twins) coming. Since then she has went back to work and my work has increased to taking care of them from when they wake up aroun 7AM until around 7 or 8 at night. I do all of the laundry, dishes, cook/ make all of their food, do learning activites/workbook pages with all 3 kids, bathe them.. and so on. I do not get paid sick days or vacation days and I have never recieved a pay increase even though my work has seriously increased from what I was doing when I started. As parents what would you pay a nanny that had these duties? Also the hours that I work are about 12 hours more a week then I agreed to. They get home from work at random times. I get paid hourly, so I make more because of that, but 12 hour days are taking a toll on me. I really care for these kids, but i will mention they are a handful and dont really listen to anything...Does this seem fair to you all?
