I am grateful for all the thoughtful prayers that were sent up on my dads behalf. He came home yesterday! That is undeniable proof that prayer does change things. But make no mistake; I know that adversity, negativity, confusion, & conflict, all orchestrated by the enemy, continually lurk in the shadows. Im aware of it; therefore I pray myself up for it. And sure enough, there was confusion on daddys first day home. But he got through it and well try again tomorrow. Yet, It definitely caught me off guard to pull up in front of my house & see someone banging on my door. Why did she come to the black & Hispanic neighbors asking about her stolen golf cart?! I tried to be polite, but she was persistent asking about the Hispanics. Im a calm courteous person until the wrong buttons are pushed! No, she had no idea how the last 16 days had been for me. So all niceties went out the window. But as I sit here, all alone in the dark, I realize, that racist lady is truly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. For the joy of the Lord will continue to be my strength.
