I am guilty and ashamed of what i ve done; these hands are dirty and ashamed to lift them up to the Holy One. The lyrics of the song that so powerful that broke me to tears this morning. The same hands that i lift to worship every friday are the same hands that commit sins on weekdays, the same lips that sings praises for Jesus on friday are the same lips that curses my neighbor. I have offended Jesus every day, and felt that i am unworthy to serve Him. But He loves us so much, He continues to remind us through songs and bible verses that we are precious in His eyes. Thank you Jesus for loving us while we were still sinners. The God that we have offended makes a way for our offenses to be forgiven. How can it be? How a Holy God could look to a wretched, misserable sinners like us with compassion and love? So dear brothers and sisters, every time you feel like hiding because of shame, because of things in the past, remember this; He plead your cause He right your wrong He broke your chains He gave up His life for you to live How can it be? Because His love is greater than our sins. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NIV)
