I am happy to share with all of my family and friends that today, Thursday 9/4/2014. I humbly accepted the Korean National Presidents letter of Commendation in front of over 5000 specially invited TaeKwonDo family members from all over the world for the TaeKwonDo-Won (Newly built Hub of World TaeKwonDo, formally called TaeKwonDo Park) opening ceremony. As a TaeKwonDo practitioner, I am most honored to have been presented with this award. Officially, this is TaeKwonDo-Won’s first time to award only 4 Grandmasters with Medals of Honors, 4 Grandmasters with the President’s award, and 4 Prime Ministers Award to Grandmasters and Senior Masters from all around the world TaeKwonDo family. I am especially happy because today is The TaeKwonDo Day for all of the worldwide TaeKwonDo family and it is an amazing surprise to have received this special honor over my respected seniors. I will take this as encouragement in serving more for the development of TaeKwonDo. I sincerely thank everyone, especially my wife Gail, my mother, all the other family, H.K. Lee academy of TaeKwonDo Masters and students, along with other TaeKwonDo families worldwide. Without your support, this honor may not have been granted to me. 오늘은 제 일생 일대에 잊을수없는 특별한 추억이 만들어진 날입니다! 1. 우람하고 자랑 스럽게 모습을 드러낸 세계 태권도인들의 성지 태권도원 개원식에 특별 초대된점. 2. 세계 만방에서 특별이 초대된 5000명의 태권도 가족들과 함께 역사의 현장에서 개원의 기쁨을 나눈점. 3. 태권도원 최초 개원기념 시상식장 에서 대통령 표창을 수상하는 영광을 얻은점. 4. 이날이 새계 태권도인들이 제정한 태권도의 날 (생일) 인데 나를위하여 베풀어준 성대한 태권도 생일잔치 같은 기분이었습니다! 태권도인 으로써 저에게는 오늘이 너무나 감격 스럽고 의미있는 날 이었습니다! 저에게 이렇게 크고 영광스러운 자리를 만들어주신 태권도원 임 직원여러분 그리고 선후배 동료 여러분들 감사합니다! 아울러 존경하는 선배님들께 죄송합니다! 감히 제가 훌륭하신 선배님들을 대신 했습니다! 더욱더 열심히 봉사하며 부끄러움이 없는 태권도인이 되도록 노력하겠습니다! 그럼 나를 사랑하는 가족들 그리고 모든지인 여러분들의 건강과 행운이 항시 함께하시기 바라면서 이만 이렇게나마 제 마음을 전합니다!
