I am in the process of setting up an event at the Kinney Performance Center at Upstate Golisano Childrens Hospital for Mothers Day. It will be a mother-daughter spa day. The mothers and daughters inpatient will be able to get their nails painted and hopefully be given a spa gift bag. I am currently looking for donations toward this. Because this is an event at the hospital and we are dealing with patients that may be immune compromised, everything MUST be brand new and individually packaged. Because of this it will cost more, hence why I am asking for donations. I am currently looking for the following items: Bottles of Nail polish Individual nail brushes Cotton balls Gloves nail glitter fake nails (these will display the designs that they can get) little teddy bears or stuffed animals small bottles of bubble bath sleeping masks Cds with soothing music individually packaged shower caps manicure sticks small plastic cups (to pour nail polish into) Also I am looking for volunteers to help paint nails, set up, take down, and help give out gift bags. Though I have been in contact with a coordinator from the hospital there is still no guarantee this event will happen.
