I am looking for an acoustic guitarist to join alfiekingstonduo We are signed up with over 20 entertainment agencies and play rock and pop covers at weddings, parties and corporate events across the UK but mainly the south west. Guitarist must be of an extremely high standard and be able to play rhythm, lead and finger picking parts as well as be able to take occasional lead vocal and provide harmonies. Must be able to drive and be based in Bristol for rehearsals. I am looking for someone to play a few gigs with this year, depending on their availability, then go full time as of 2016. I cant work with anyone who is in other bands or anybody working on an original material project- it just gets too complicated. Guitarist must understand that weekends are a must for work and will not be looking to have bank holidays or NYE dates off. With regard to dates and fees, I am willing to pay £400 a month as a retainer for the new player not to be in another band. As I get 7 - 12 bookings a month this will be around £800 - £1400 + fuel costs. I do not know when the bookings will be, they could be 3 mid week weddings or a weekend full of weddings. These are generally confirmed within a months notice. Guitarist must have a good work ethic as well as being able to have fun on the road.
