I am midway through a week at my parents home in the Shire, which was planned with the intention of writing my capstone paper away from distraction. So far, out of 10 ACPA/NASPA competencies, Ive managed to: 1. Paint six directional road signs for my wedding next summer and plan table décor with my mom 2. Take one oversized beagle for several walks (complete with stops at my aunts house for chit-chat) 3. Organize a storage room in the basement that probably did not need the amount of focus and attention that I gave to it 4. Chop firewood with my dad for the stove that heats our house (this ones a lie; he did that. I did however toss a few pieces into the stove, ever wary of spiders) So...success!
