I am not married, I do not have a boyfriend, most of my friends do not live in Sydney. So, often times I am out and about on my own. I have done so in Suva, Lautoka, Nadi, Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown and Newcastle, Maitland, Hunter, Brisbane and Canberra to name some familiar places. But only in Sydney, for a long time, everywhere I go I get treated suspiciously, the security will come out or some other authority, even in stores, someone will follow and hang around me, just incase, incase what? I am a terrorist, a thief, a criminal? Or I am black and I am alone and in a city with such mentality of people that will do that to someone. ofcourse they will deny it. Who would admit it? They all know why they do it. and they do it because they can. and I tolerate it. I am tolerant not only of others but their ways too. I tolerate a lot. I have no choice too.
