I am proud of my military family. My father was in the Army Air - TopicsExpress

I am proud of my military family. My father was in the Army Air Corps during WWII. I believe my Uncle Bill Shaffer served in the Pacific in WWII My Uncle Dick was buried in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. My Uncle Bob rests in his beloved ocean with a Military burial at sea. Uncle Byron was a high level civilian employee for our military. Many of my cousins served in our military including in Vietnam. My Grandmother Anna was a plane spotter(?) in WWII and very active in the VFW. And those that were left at home supported them and all the soldiers with prayers and tears. I thank all the US soldiers for the country we live in, for creating Allies and protecting us from a world of enemies. None of these relatives are stand out heroes, yet all stand with the everyday heroes who sacrifice that we may enjoy what we do have. Thank you for the lessons of bravery, loyalty and love you all have given us. God bless us all.
