I am raccoon. I have raccoons inside me (senses and organs, cells, perhaps ephemerals like sensations, possibly molecular and atomic and subatomic raccoons). I am inside a greater raccoon (at the very least the raccoon of my local context, sensibly; the raccoon of community, society, and planet). From the perspective of the I raccoon there is a horizon beyond which I cannot rightly say, but only suppose, but its a fair supposition, noting the above arrangement, that there are raccoons above and below the limits of my direct observations, and probably in many diverse lateral ways within that are possibly perceptible but difficult to enumerate or dynamic in their boundaries. Cosmos denotes particularly a super order, a gigantic raccoon made of stars and galaxies and such. If there is cosmos at all, stellar scale raccoonness is a given as part of that definition. If on the other hand what I see when I look at stars and whatnot is not cosmos but random mechanistic nonsense, that may be an even greater raccoons tail, or not cosmos - but chaos - the as yet unrealized potential for raccoon at the stellar scale.
