I am sick of seeing these ridiculous adds on Hulu and Youtube asking me to sign a petition to stop the hidden gas tax. We need money to fund road works projects. The federal tax hasnt been raised since 1993, and the California tax, although the highest, has to fund the 3rd biggest state by size and the most populous state by volume. Just raise the taxes, get the roads fixed, and while we are at it....raise the minimum wage. Maybe increase the capital gains tax rate....and revise the corporate tax rate to a normal level while leaving out all the entitlements. Shit congress....get it together. I would settle for dropping this asinine lawsuit and getting 1 meaningful law passed; Even if I dont agree with it.
