I am so proud of my son Dalton Hoffman. He chose to do a presentation on his great-grandmother (my grandmother) Peggy Simson Curry. Who was a famous western writer and had 4 novels, 2 books of poems and a writing textbook and numerous short stories that she wrote for Saturday Evening Post, Boys Life etc. She was Poet Laureate for the state of Wyoming. She introduced a program called Poetry in the Schools to enlighten young people to poetry. She was also marreid to my grandfather, William S Curry, who served on the Wyoming State Legislature for over 20 years. Dalton is in his freshman year and attends Tampa Jesuit, and all boy Catholic high school that is the highest recognized schooll for its math, critical thinking, and engineering academics. I am so excited that he chose to share this part of our family with his classmates.
