I am sorry about Robin Williams untimely passing and tragic death....and sincerely hope that he is at peace....and that the Lord will comfort and encourage those that knew and loved him. That being said, Williams death has been all over TV and the papers and the internet...total saturation....while we had one of our Generals, a hero, and a patriot shot in the back in Afghanistan and barely a whimper. Any time an athlete of renown or a Hollywood star or a singer or entertainer passes it is front page news....but thousands of our finest and heroes and defenders of the Republic have come home in flag draped caskets in almost total obscurity. Our president, without a doubt, does not even know the number of dead from Afghanistan, most of which lost their lives on his watch....much less their names. What kind of country have we become? If all of Hollywood, the NBA, MLB, the PGA, the NFL, the NCAA, and otherwise vaporized over night....America would survive and hardly miss a beat. Not so for our military heroes, our grassroots patriots, our working folks, our true preachers of righteousness, and many, many more folks of true value!!! An idol burning and a big change in priorities is truly in order!!!
