I am very grateful for my son, Elder Benjamin Simpson (Hathcock) who is speaking in our ward today and leaving tomorrow morning for the next chapter of his life- a mission in the Portugal Lisbon Mission. He is an amazing man and I am so proud of the son and brother and person he has become. I know he will do well and serve those around him with all of his heart. I know he knows with every fiber of his being who he is and what he stands for! I will be trying to keep myself busier than ever for the next few weeks as I adjust to the first child leaving the nest. I am also grateful for the increase of love and support I have had from my friends, my sweet husband, and Josh and Sarah and Davis. I just wish it wasnt so hard as a mother to let him go ! :)
