I beleive that we need to have in every town in ireland a health centres whi h treat every specific need of a patient no more going to the GP first a waste of time and money in most cases. The pharmacie could deal with have these problems over the counter if history was recorded for regular customers with possible contraindictions your next step if unwell should be a phone call answered by a qualified nurse who directs you to the health centre of your needs in your nearest large town exsisting gp s should be given the help to choose there spevialty and study further and every large town will have every centre necessary for cancer heart trouble eye specialist etc no wasting money on Gps not just us but government who fit the bill for medical cards also for gps instead fit the bill for the specif problem no more driving across the country to be given a prescription your doctor could give you and cancer patients getting trains to and from dublin from the other side of the country bring the care to the people not the people to the care its not going to happen overnight but make a start for the future demand a better future for everyone
