I believe I spoke to my first (birth) father on the phone on - TopicsExpress

I believe I spoke to my first (birth) father on the phone on Fathers day 2013 but he said I had the wrong man. Two decades ago I met my first (birth) mum and my younger siblings of her family, my two half brothers and half sister. When I met my mum I felt love but it was the strangest thing because there were no memories attached, just very strong feelings. It felt very, very nice yet strained to feel a part of her family for a short time. Sadly the reunion didnt last. I miss them but dont feel free to come back into their lives, my fate has been different and I cant undo law and time. In 2013 I again spoke with my first mum on the phone a couple of times and took my first plane flight as Roz (with Virgin lol) to attend the National Forced Adoption Apology in Canberra. I met some wonderful people I now call friends who were similarly affected by the forced adoption era. Video footage of us appears briefly in this Australian Story which is kinda hard to watch in places as it captures our pain too. iview.abc.net.au/programs/australian-story/NC1456Q034S00
