I believe in freedom of speech and that it shouldnt be curtailed even if it is hate speech. For if we make laws against hate speech then whats stoping the government from making laws restricting the freedom to speak out against the government and other social norms and taboos of the time. Also we should even reserve the right to say even the most of blatantly false things that one could make up. I also think it is Every Americans duty to believe in freedom and support it rather it is on the battlefield or in the courtroom or in any other of the countless ways of doing that. Finally I do understand that there are some limits of freedom of speech such as making criminal or terrorist threats. So yeah there is my rant about liberty for the day also screw the governments of the various European countries with their anti-freedom agenda.
