I bought a car and have owned it in my name since 2013. So how is it that whenever I get a notice about warranty protection, the company addresses it to my husband? He owns his own car and is not on the contract for my vehicle nor the registration. The title is in my name, not his. I paid cash and didnt finance it. So I called the place. The poor guy answering the phone had no idea. He told me it was no big deal. I politely told him it was a big deal to me. I bought the car with my own money, I dont think anyone should assume my husband owns the car. Does anyone else have this happen? Same thing used to happen with correspondence on our mortgage. Both of us were on it but the correspondence only went to him.
