I came back from class late one nite n almost everyone was fast asleep and there was this youngman seated outside looking restless.When i enquired to know why he wasnt sleeping and not also reading at that hour, he showed me his swollen leg n narrated his ordeal to me.I approached the sch imam the ff day and prayers were said for him in the sch mosque.Later I noticed his long absence on campus n when i ask i was told his condition had deteriorated.The sch imam,myself and other students arranged for fisabilliah and took it to him in his house. This youngman was full of imaan when we got to his house.He told us to see his condition as a test from Allah on our imaan and that we should not see it as the work of man.We were impressed by his faith in Allah. I had a call yesterday around 5:30pm and when i recieved it,it was our sch imam.He called ti inform me of the passing on of our beloved brother.I was devastated and still i am.I cant believe MAN can be that wicked to his/her fellow man.We are Africans and so we cant say vodooism doesnt exist.I dont have doubt that he is smilling to this post from Jannah Fredaws on Allahs right hand .He got admission to the Training college looking very healthy.He was full of hopes of becoming a proud teacher in the next 3years.Hmmm...but unknown to him n to us there was a different package waiting for him. May Allah forgive our brother and accept him into his bossom.May he Rests In Perfect Peace till we meet again in Janatul Fredaws.. R.I.P late ABDUL RAHIM of Tamale College of Education.
