I can tell you firsthand what a HUGE impact CASA volunteers have in the life of a child in foster care. I am still Monkeys Mommy nearly three years after he returned home to his dad because his CASA volunteer encouraged and supported ALL of us while we made the hard decisions that would impact the rest of his life. I always send her yearly updates to remind her of what a difference she made for our family. My Uncle Tim is the Director of CASA in Allen and Putnam Counties, Ohio, and he recently wrote the song linked here with the hope that it would encourage others to stand up and become a voice for these children.
