I cannot put into words the incredible about of pride I feel for working with a incredible and tremendous group of people especially Patrick Shepherd, Bill Guentzler, Gregg Levine and Michelle DeLozier to make this a historical night in the cities of Cleveland and Akron. Being one of the co-chairs of tonights opening ceremonies for Gay Games 9 ranks up there as one of the proudest and inspirational moments of my life. A special thanks to all my family especially Renee Axiotis and Jayne Garofalo for all their love, patience and support over the past 18 months of planning. And to my friends who have been my inspiration to do this and to make all of us make this a night we wont ever forget.
