I cant believe what I just saw with my own eyes. A Christian friend of mine on FB clicking like on an Israeli post announcing The Third Temple will be built soon. Truly I am shocked & astounded at this. What form of Christianity is this? Please some one explain to me. There is absolutely nothing in either text, or anywhere else in Scripture, to suggest a gap of 2,000 years, or that a future temple is predicted, let alone needed. Just the reverse – the old temple was declared redundant the moment Jesus died on the cross when the curtain was torn in two from top to bottom (Hebrews 1:3; 10:1-3, 11). The true and lasting temple is revealed to be the Lord Jesus himself and his followers. John 2:19-21 Ephesians 2:19-21 “Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body.” Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.” ******The true temple, therefore, is under construction. Quoting Old Testament temple imagery, the Apostle Peter writes, “you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5-7) ****** How can a Christian deny The Temple is the body of Jesus Christ & fall back into pagan & devil worship by joining himself with those who shall build a temple of bricks & mortar to house the coming enemy of Christ, the Anti Christ. THE FALSE CHRIST. It is clear to see so many have stumbled & are falling into the web spun by Satans helpers. May God have mercy on these souls who unknowly are helping to usher in the Anti Christ.
