I cant wait to see The Hoppers in person on Oct. 12 at the Enterprise Celebration. Those of you who knew my parents know that Daddy and Momma loved good Southern Gospel Music. Some of my favorite memories are of starry nights watching The Florida Boys, Wendy Bagwell and the Sunlighters, The Lewis Family, The Hemphills, Naomi and the Sego Brothers and a host of other quartets and family groups singing on the backs of flathead trailers on high school football fields or empty pastures. This concert is surely bringing back memories of those old days, since its gonna be at Bates Memorial Stadium. We can bring our lawn chairs or our blankets and enjoy the music and the message of some of todays greatest gospel artists. The Hoppers are a great family group, and Kim Hopper is just amazing.
