I close my eyes drift off to sleep, There begins my vivid dream. You are only eleven, Same as my son. You are slowly walking, Down the road by yourself. A child behind you, Pointing and laughing explains your mood. I watch as you enter the trailer, And I feel a cold shiver. I lay in my bed and wonder, What has caused this blunder. Silence....... Silence....... I am awakened to a scream, Is this really a dream? I jump to my feet, Go to my window. No dad please no, I hear you scream. Scream...... Scream...... Morning draws near, The sound of the bus is clear. My eyes search the crowd for you, To no avail. It seems theyve locked you in your Hell. Two years pass, Your father is awful crass. Always ranting and raging, Saying Im gonna beat his ass. It is spring, Everything is blooming. I decide to walk, Looking for you, maybe we can talk. Nowhere...... Nowhere...... I cannot find you, I begin to feel blue. One afternoon, dark and gloomy, Your voice comes to me. Help me please! For they will keep hurting me! I turn and look at the trailer, carefully. I watch for days on end, Looking for my good friend. I find your sister, And ask her. Please can you tell me where to find my friend?, She replies, Oh hes run away again! I know this cant be true, Within a week or two they move. Forgotten?????? Forgotten?????? Two more years pass by, And the story come to light. It was all a lie, you did die, In an awful fight. Buried in a shallow grave, With no remorse. The community is in awe, Of what happened to that shy young man. You had been lost for four years, And we all shed tears. Dear Christian you maybe be gone, But never forgotten. My dream begins to lighten and fade, And my ears turn to a cascade. Angels are singing for justice, As your voice becomes the loudest.
