I contemplated something this early morning as I walked outside in the hills,i live simply, quietly, slowly and beautifully,i see things on fb sometimes I do not like or I wanna smirk and leave a rude, mean, criticizing comment,LOL,i still have a mean girl streak in me,but I am more passionate now in old age about being nice and good and sincere and kind and understanding,it is more important than being snide! I know some folks got enough greenbacks to wipe their butt with if they wanted, some got lots and lots of nice, shiny, big things, material things, and here I was with a plastic bucket picking tiny twigs of old pine tree branches to save for building my fires with when autumn gets here, sometimes I pick pretty pinecones, sometimes rocks for my lil craft projects to make with grandkids, and then I thought about my husband and my beautiful children with good, kind, endearing hearts,i live in an old place that my Pa chose in 72 when he and Ma were planning to start building their own home,i love it here,my cowboy bought us a nice, comfy bunkhouse and he works his butt off to keep me spoiled,i want for nothing, family life is great, the grandkids love coming to see their Nana Carole and Papa Jack, there is a lot of fun things to do all over these hills,so instead of having bad thoughts about other folks being uppity or mean or stupid I better keep focused on all my little things I am blessed with, the important things like the feel of soft dirt underneath my bare feet, wet earth after the gentle rain, green, sweet grass growing out in the pastures, the moon and stars, good neighbors and fresh water runnin in the crick year round,my folks that are my nearest neighbors, life is big and the world is round,God is almighty and the devil waits to lure the weak,i just wanna be me,live happy and right, smile in the sunshine, dance in the rain and play in the snow, those are priceless~~~~
