I discovered a pest on my Red Oaks. Small growths called galls. Inside these galls there are insect larva. In laymen terms you might say they are tumors that form as the insects secrete enzymes that stimulate the growth of extra plant cells. The best way to get rid of the problem is to remove the affected leaves and destroy them.
