I dont enjoy scaring people and I dont like to pass on information that seems sensationalist, but the fact remains that there is a LOT of historic precedent for us assuming household chemicals are safe until they are proven otherwise. This video begins with a commercial that shows a housewife spraying DDT all over her house - even directly on the dog! - with a cheery voiceover about how safe and effective this pesticide is. Of course now, we know better...and we learned at the expense of those who fell sick. Its easy to see the parallels happening today - the growing incidence of autism, cancer, and many other diseases that are rising along with the rising numbers of toxins in our environment.
