I dont generally say much about personal stuff on FB but Ive come to a point in my life that I can honestly say that this song truly describes me and everything I feel on a daily bases and choose to hide and keep from those who know me. Now Im sure that friends will respond to my post asking whats got me by the *** and I could start with the most disappointing aspect of my life was thinking that one day Id live my dream of flying for a mainline company, at 46 and 7 years in the right seat of a regional airline, starving at times and losing days at home with my girls only to be no closer to upgrade or mainline then I was 7 years ago, Ive all but thrown in the towel as I see guys around me that honestly suck as aviators get hired or upgrade yet here I sit making my 20 a year wondering will I even have enough in retirement the day I can no longer fly to survive. I could go on and on about the different shit in my life that just eats at my soul daily but then it wouldnt really matter because Im sure Im not the only one that feels defeated by life. On that note at least I woke up breathing this morning and Im still in the game. Thanks FB friends for allowing me to vent.
