I dont think it is neither fair nor right to judge that a persons concept of God is tied to a persons eschatology. They may have a greater appreciation and concept than those who are assuptive and less passionate. It seems common that those who have a fearful looking forward of judgment do find it difficult to let others of the hook on their ways or lifestyle. Beholding Him we are changed makes sense to me if it is a real Holy Spirit beholding! So, doctrine and theology may change with the degree of true beholding, and not the other way around. Theology and doctrine are good but without beholding...it is just education.
