I dont think people quite understand the love one can have for a cat. Its not like people question why others love dogs so much. Ive loved cats since the moment I met my first one. And when I was able to get Marie, my own first cat, I was so happy. Now I have my fifth, Lady Almalthea. She is everything you could ever ask for in a cat. She is kind and loving. She knows when I am upset and comforts me. A pet is not simply an animal, but a friend, a confidant, and a family member. It is easy to pass the love a person can have for an animal as a crazy obsession when you dont understand it. Animals arent there to own. They are there to help you grow as a human being. To help heal your heart. And to help you become a better overall person. You are not their owner, you are their human. And when you realize that, the relationship between you and your animal creates a bond that is so strong, you couldnt believe it.
