I dont understand these shows on MTV.... Teen mom, big tips in Texas, and others like that. They are poorly staged and the actors/actresses are awful at convincing me that its almost real. I wonder if the executives at MTV know that MTV is an acronym for music television. There are thousands and thousands of artist with music videos they could easily play, not to mention millions of hours worth of concerts from every band since the invention of the video camera. Imagine you turn on the tv and you catch an old deep purple concert or Madonna in her hay day. Maybe they have blocks of time set aside for genres of particular music, or interviews with modern or classic artist. They could really change things around and create a powerful channel that would be taken seriously and watched by people of all ages.....not just by 13 year old girls trying to create a cool personality off of some slut on big tips texas..... I should be a producer.....or a cat!!!
