I dont want this post to appear sad or woeful but I would like so - TopicsExpress

I dont want this post to appear sad or woeful but I would like so share a few personal words with friends. Sadly, my uncle passed away on Thursday. He had been suffering form Parkinsons Disease and had no quality of life over the past few years. Its heartbreaking watching someone deteriorate; their strength and zest for life slowly disappearing before your very eyes. My aunt is a remarkable human being. She became his carer and never complained once or asked for help as she struggled to manage their lives. May my uncle rest in perfect peace and watch over us, knowing how much he was loved. Grieving is a process and my aunt is blessed with an amazing family. Our support will offer her an emotional comfort blanket. Its not that life is short, its the quality of your life that is short. We often take our health and the good people around us for granted. In this expeditious world we live in, we should always make time, quality time, for those we love; make time for that call or that visit. The day will come when the universe wont give you that option. Life is not about finding yourself, its about creating yourself. If you are still reading this, thank you. You have taken time out to read something rather personal, and emotional but I want you to feel inspired. When we feel inspired, we are full of energy and creativity. We want to make a difference. I love Gandhis words of inspiration - Be the change you wish to see in the world. Go create a wonderful day, as we can only take each day as it comes. Carpe diem my friends! xx
