I don’t know about you dear Facebook readers and friends, but as - TopicsExpress

I don’t know about you dear Facebook readers and friends, but as far as I’m concerned, the Political Conversations (or should I say three-way monologue?) that the Conservative, Liberal and NDP organizations are engaging in demonstrate that they are moving further to the Right with the unequivocal purpose of benefitting powerful people, at the expense of the 99% It is clear that in different proportions but definitely in the case of all three, large Corporations and the clubs, meeting places and interest groups that bring them together, have contributed with their support to the financial well-being of the Parties. It stands to simple logic to conclude that this financial presence has a commanding influence on the way these political parties conduct themselves. It is also very clear that political parties need the support of the Millionaires and the large corporate groups, because currently they do not have another way of obtaining the huge amounts of money needed to win elections, create and empower lobbying groups, develop large campaigns, train volunteers, pay for entire armies of Federal, Provincial and even Municipal staff, develop and host Constituent enrollment campaigns and all the other activities with which parties lure and engage supporters. The amount of money politicians receive from interest groups, the very wealthy and the mighty corporations is so clearly proportional to their ability to win elections and, therefore, make it to power, that it is no surprise to see one same Large company supporting at least two, and even all three major parties with their financial backup. It is almost impossible to win a clear political victory in this stagnant tri-partisan status quo without the help of big monies. Proof of all this, is the uncontested Conservative hegemony that entrenched itself in Canada in 2006. So, dear friends, it will soon dawn on all of you that politics in Canada –like in many other places in the world- has become a financial stratagem that provides alleged citizen support to certain very cleverly designed and astutely conceived social, technological and economic strategies that ensure that only a privileged few have access to the many advantages and comforts of modern civilization. It is time that we demand from our system. It is time that we ask ourselves, not what John Kennedy famously asked of his fellow Americans, but the exact opposite: “ASK NOT WHAT MORE YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR PRIVILEGED AND ENSHRINED CORPORATIONS AND THEIR POLITICAL PUPPETS, BUT WHAT MUCH MORE THESE ILLEGITIMATELY ULTRA-FAVOURED POLITICIANS AND THEIR PARTIES CAN DO FOR YOU!”
