I enjoyed moderating a focus group of health care CIOs from across the country this afternoon. The goal was to find out what technology challenges theyre facing. It turns out that theyre struggling to keep up with the pace of technological change in many of the same ways the rest of us are. If the group I talked to is representative of the rest of the industry, its good to know there are very, very smart people committed to advancing health care tech with patient privacy and security in mind.
