I feel I must post a warning to my friends who live in my community. Just a bit ago I watched as a silver Toyota Sequoia nearly hit our Kia. Shannon was backing out of our driveway and looked before backing out. I could hear a vehicle coming down the hill above our home and by the sound it was moving fast. Before I could shout a warning the Toyota was at our gates. I would guess that it was going between 50-60 miles an hour. It swerved and braked at the last instant and avoided a collision. Marty and I left behind Shannon and saw the same vehicle parked at the mouth of the hollow. The driver was using her cellphone. I do not know what prompted her haste but she needs to slow down. The communities from my home to the main road are full of children and animals, wild and domestic. I would ask everyone to Please be careful on our road. I hate to see anybody or any animal hurt by an accident involving a vehicle.
