I feel compelled to address this issue… A few of my Facebook - TopicsExpress

I feel compelled to address this issue… A few of my Facebook friends have said that they saw a post on my page(which I deleted) from some man that I do not know, nor does any of my band members. He was bashing me, saying I was too stuck up to let him know I was in North Carolina, and that Mark Herndon was no longer with his former band because he took some merch. Well, I have to stand for truth here guys. Neither myself, nor Mark has ever spoken on Facebook about this, because its not our character to do that… but I am going to defend my friend. Months after the Farewell Tour, Mark inquired about a cd they put out at Cracker Barrel(which they airbrushed him out of the back photo), because he played live on the album. Their response was a lawsuit against him for allegedly over paying him for merch sales. They claimed they didnt sell as much as they thought. As anyone can research on the internet and read, Mark was only ever paid as a sideman. He didnt share in the $$$ that the other 3 received. Long story short, he WON that lawsuit and has put it all behind him. Thats the facts, guys. I admire Mark more than he will ever know, for the tremendous amount of class, dignity, and honor he has shown throughout all of this.I wish more folks were like him. He has always said, the fans are what got us here, and it is heartbreaking to see it all come to an end in that way. For the record, he wishes things could have been different… for the FANS. Thats it yall. Love to you ALL.
