I feel somewhat shy to ask this because it may be a very obvious answer, but I genuinely have no idea: is the construction of bathrooms at the hot springs really as essential as it is being made out to be? It seems that this is being presented as an absolute requirement and is said to justify a lot of the construction. Ive seen other frequented wild spots in the area and other places do just fine with no bathrooms, but imagine this may be different because of the projected amount of future visitors, the fact that people hang out there and dont just pass through, etc. Can anyone weigh in?
