I feel that I should with an apology for not updating everyone sooner. After a long day at the clinic and over 200 miles to drive home, I just hit the road and go. The drive home was fairly uneventful except for the freezing rain / sleet and then all snow once I got close to Lake Superior. As for the results of my scans today, everything looked good in regards to my lungs, liver and pancreas. However there are two cysts on my left kidney that are of concern. My oncologist feels they may be able to determine if they are more cyst in nature or that of tumors from an MRI scan versus todays CT scan. Depending on the results of the MRI, I will have a CT guided biopsy performed for further testing and confirmation as to whether we are dealing with benign cysts or malignant tumors. So the really good news is that all previous removal sites are doing good and listed as unremarkable. Lets hope for some benign kidney cysts and that things continue on as they were ... I will be headed back to Mayo the second week in December for the MRI and possible biopsy. My love to all
