I find it ridiculous that people are using the recent mass shooting as fodder for the war against patriarchy. NO ONE IS SAYING THAT THIS MANS KILLING OF WOMEN WAS AN ACCEPTABLE THING TO DO. One persons actions do not mean that it is suddenly a social norm for men to go on shooting sprees because women wont sleep with them. A singular event making the news does not mean that all women must fear for their lives when around men. Ordinary men (or people of any gender, for that matter) do not become psychopaths in an instant, and to assume so is just downright offensive to humanity. Many people (male and female) may share his frustrations, but that doesnt mean they plan on emulating his brand of retribution, and even if he had gotten what he wanted, I hardly think that would have stopped him on his murderous path. It is highly doubtful that rejection by women was the true instigator of his actions, with untreated underlying mental conditions being a far more probable cause. This is a case of mental illness, not misogyny.
