I forgot to post my experience on my power walk yesterday. I came around a corner and there was a murder (flock) of crows on a neighbors lawn. They were all perfectly still, all facing the same direction, all looking off into the distance (sort of upward), all with their mouths partway open, all with one leg up. Perfectly still, perfectly silent, perfectly eerie. Just like a portrait. I mean, I came around the corner and they didnt move at all. Not until I came right by them and then turned around to see what they were looking at. Then one by one, very calmly, as if waking up, they flew off, in line, one by one. Still, no sound. It was one of the most eerie and beautiful things I have ever witnessed of these intelligent beings. Btw, there was nothing in the sky but a bright white cloud and blue skies.
