I fostered Sandy as of August 28 - 2012. She quickly won our hearts and we foster failed within a couple of weeks. She started raiding cabinets and counter surfing. The cabinet raids ended quickly - not long after she watched me put some dog treats away in a cabinet.....I banged in the cabinet and screamed like a banshee [good thing no one else was home] and she never raided a cabinet again. The counter surfing thing took a bit longer, and I am not actually sure when that stopped. I got into the habit of putting everything away when I went out since she only surfed when I wasnt home. Recently there have been a few occasions when items were left out on the counter - nothing has been touched. I started to leave more items out, and more tempting items....still good. She has come a long way! Now we need to get our act together in agility!
