I found myself in an Oil And Gas Training And Capacity Workshop - TopicsExpress

I found myself in an Oil And Gas Training And Capacity Workshop yesterday Which Left me Depressed And Angry Depressed That Our Leaders Are Giving Us The Short End Of The Stick And We Are Not Asking Questions Rather we are happy that we are being given the crumbs instead of putting the resources derived from the sale of oil and gas to better use Angry That we have allowed sentiments, partisanship and ethnicity define the way we see things especially in relation to corruption and transparency in the oil and gas sector I realized that Many of us especially here on social media are Ignorant of the workings in the oil and gas sector and that is why, we could afford to call People like Sanusi names for blowing the lid on the tragedy that is our Oil And Gas Sector After hearing experts which Includes foreign and home grown facilitators dissect our Oil And Gas Sector, I felt sorry for myself and I think I owe Sanusi Lamido a big apology any time I see him for ignorantly calling for his head and justifying his sack which came about as a result of vested Interests and saying what he was not supposed to say People we are in a deep mess and reform in our Oil and Gas Sector is long over due and time to reform the beleaguered sector is now God was not foolish when he endowed in our land, the exhaustible Oil And Gas resources, therefore we owe ourselves the duty to hold our leaders especially the aspiring politicians for the forthcoming election to account on how to reform our Oil And Gas Sector And make it work for once Tomopolo does not owe the resources found in his back yard neither does it belong to Asari Dokubo or Dizieani Alison Madueke It belongs to all of us including our children yet unborn and we should not forget, Crude Oil found in our land is expected to last for the next 36 years. If That is the case, It is incumbent on us to advocate for reform in that sector and there is no better time to do it than Now If we cant reform the corrupt riddled sector called Oil And Gas in order to make productive use of the resources coming from the sale of Oil And Gas for the overall good of Nigerians, It means we are doomed as a people And did I hear some one say God Forbid? Our story especially in relation to management of the resources coming from the sale of Oil And Gas Is a pathetic one but the good news is that all hope is not lost, we can make issue of reform, a campaign issue for our aspiring politicians You will be hearing from me more on this later Meanwhile , I apologize for my absence here but the training Im currently going through necessitated the absence and I hope to be back hopefully Friday We can Reform Our Oil And Gas Industry And Make It Work Yes We Can! Good Morning Great People
