**I found some good advice on some ones page from another page, so thought I would share with you all!** With the changes to Facebook which come into effect on New Years Day, the number of likes/comments on each photo is really what is going to help your businesses! Here are a few tips on how to get people to comment on your makes. #a) Ensure that there is a text to you photo ... how do you expect someone to comment (let alone buy) if they do not know what your are selling! #b) A good quality photo will elicit more comments! If you are unable to afford a lighting box, place your item on a sheet of clean (un-crumpled) white paper ... and if the item is vey pale use a prop on top of the white paper. The paper will reflect the light and show off your make in a nicer way! #c) ALWAYS reply to any comments you receive ....... this will help build a rapport with the commenter and could get you a sale! #d) Do not have too many photos on your page which do not relate to YOUR craft ... a few can be nice, especially if they show off your personality! If you are sharing from another crafters page, create an album for these shares - it will not confuse potential purchasers! If you share from a Crafting Network page, delete the photo after the event has finished ... no one wants to know that you were on a ladder several days ago! Have fun and be friendly and professional!
