I got my 10.5 miles in at 5:00am this morning! I started keeping a running log on January 1st and set a goal to run 10 miles a week to average 40 miles a month and wrap up the year around 520 miles. Well, after reaching the mid way point of the year, I have completed 373.5 miles, for an average of 15.6 a week and 62.25 a month. And these numbers should continue to increase I stay the course under my training for the upcoming Houston Marathon in January! Thanks Coach Andy for working with me and getting me on a steady routine to keep me on track! I also want to thank Steven Mikel Stapleton who talked me into my first half marathon back in March and Kevin Kline, Larry DeSpain and Robert Key who have helped or pushed me along the way with their advise and support. And I am sure I may have missed someone but also who can forget Grape Nut! Thanks and now to see what the second half of the year may bring. Everyone have a great Sunday!
