I got this e-mail today from a current student today: I would just like to make a quick email to you entailing how you have affected me so far this year and what a great individual as well as teacher you are. I have had many English teachers in my life, and you by far have been the best. You are understanding, logical, funny, and you have one of the best methods for teaching i have ever seen in the classroom. I think about all of the trouble i have had with English, and i become very grateful for your being my teacher this year. You may get tired or tried day after day with students that dont care, but just know that you teaching this year has affected us students one way or another, those extra efforts are what really make a difference in a students life. I broke into tears. Made my school year.
