I got this update from Dad about Mom yesterday. We went to St E this morning and maybe got some good news. They checked the x-rays from NE City and also took some new ones. They said the bones are starting to heal up in good shape and may not need to put in pins. We will go back on the 27th for more x-rays and see how it is doing. They took the temp cast off and put on a more permanent one that will hold the wrist where they want it and also make it so she can’t move her elbow. If they can avoid surgery that would be great news. She was in quite a bit of pain while they were holding the arm and wrist where they wanted it and the cast was getting hard.
